Max Slaughter
|
Max is originally from Hawai'i where he attended Moanalua High School. There, he led his team to three straight conference championships and three state championship appearances. During his high school tenure, Slaughter was recognized as the HHSAA Hawaii Player of the Year in 2019, along with being a Volleymag.com First Team All-American and the Scoringlive Player of the Year. His success at the high school level translated to the college playing field, where he was able to help his former school, Menlo College, to a 17-1 start to the season before COVID-19 ended their campaign.

A 2017 Moanalua High School graduate Bhrycen Asuncion earned OIA Honorable Mention honors as a freshman and junior...named Second Team All-Region as a sophomore and senior...helped team to state tournament as a senior where he earned Honorable Mention honors...son of Sarah and Ray Ojiri.

A 2016 graduate of Moanalua High School in Honolulu, O‘ahu…a four-year varsity letterman for the Na Menehune, led the school to three straight third place finishes in the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association State Tournament and a runner-up finish in his senior year, which he led the tourney with 78 kills…named to the all-tournament team in 2015 and ’16…led school to four straight OIA titles…four-time Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Fab 15 all-state selection – was No. 2 in 2016, No. 3 in 2015, No. 4 in 2014, No. 8 in 2013…three-time OIA Red Player of the Year and four-time all-OIA Red first team…had 35 kills in a state quarterfinal match win over Kamehameha-Kapalama in 2015…selected to Volleyball Magazine's Top 5 for its 2016 Fab 50 list and picked as a 25 Underclassmen To Watch in 2015…selected to 2016 HHSAA/Enterprise Hall of Honor.

A 2016 graduate of Moanalua High School. A four-time letterwinner for the Menehune of Moanalua High School with all in volleyball... OIA Red Honorable Mention as a freshman...OIA Conference Champion and his team placed third at State sophomore through his senior year.

A 2014 graduate of Moanalua High School. Austin anchored the back row and was the Libero. He was named the Hawaii State All Tournament Libero, 1st Team OIA selection, and numerous tournament 1st team selection. First doubles team to win at the inaugural Hawaii High School Sand Volleyball Championships with his teammate Sky Engleman.

A 2014 graduate of Moanalua High School. Member of club team that won 6 straight years at the Junior National Championships. First doubles team to win at the inaugural Hawaii High School Sand Volleyball Championships. 2014 1st Team OIA and 1st Team Hawaii State All Tournament Selection. Member of the 2014 FAB 15 Hawaii Volleyball Players.

Also a 2014 Graduate of Moanalua High School, Victor transferred from the state of Florida his senior year and came to the beautiful island of Hawaii. He was on honor roll, had the highest GPA on his team, and was selected 1st team OIA.
